I’m part of an art show at PaleHorse on Nov 12th! It’s an honor to share wall space with Chris Parks and Embear of Palehorse who are absolute crushers. I’m doing some big digital prints of my work and throwing a keg through someones car window (that last part was a lie but someone else might do that).

Lab Candy just sent us some pics of their new mailer and the poly mailer that we designed for them. It’s nice to see companies put effort into their packaging. It makes a difference to the consumer in a big way.
I looooove getting stuff in the mail, especially when it’s free! We just did this design for the band Abolitionist and it came out super nice. The white vinyl color is the icing on the cake. Literally almost looks like icing. I just took a bite out of it, it’s not icing.

Here’s another useful little diddy for you web dudez. If you’re like me, you like to start off laying out a new web project with some sort of grid (if you aren’t like me, you really should, it makes things a lot easier), you know how annoying it can be to do all the math and what not when setting up your document.
Gridulator has your back. You just plug in the width of your document and how many columns you want, and then it does all the work for you. It makes a little png of your grid that you can use in photoshop, fireworks, or whatever it is that you use. Done deal. It literally takes about 30 seconds.
We launched the new site for Fest 9 yesterday. GET PSYCHED! We built the whole thing over from scratch this year including a completely custom CMS to run the blog, band profiles, music players, and everything else on the site.
