To all my Orlando friends, I’m gonna be a part of this art show on Saturday. I’m really proud of the piece I just did for it so please come check it out. You can also get drunk and eat cupcakes. I mean, come on how does that not sound like an awesome saturday?? DO IT.
Here at The Axe we are fortunate enough to get to work for a lot of big bands, but every once in a while one comes along that is extra special. I recently got the honor of designing some apparel for John Mellencamp’s upcoming “No Better Than This” tour. To say I was pumped is an understatement. If America was a person, John is that person.
And in case you don’t understand this should make it clear…
Many of us here at the axe are giganto huge fans of Shipyard Pumpkinhead. It’s like the official signal of the start of the best time of the year. First Pumpkinhead comes out, then the NBA starts back up, then Halloween, My Birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and finally New Years. AMAZING!
I don’t know what rock I’ve been living under, but I just found out that they make a limited edition version of Pumpkinhead called Smashed Pumpkin. I guess it’s the same thing, but with 9% alcohol. It has mixed reviews amongst my friends, but I’m stoked to try it.
