Monthly Review: February

The weather was cool. Love was in the air. Something else probably happened. That can only mean one thing: FEBRUARY! The Axe made it through its second month, and it was a super busy one to boot! The big FEB was filled with some awesome work for bands including New Found Glory, Rise Against, Cobra Starship, Less Than Jake, and Paint It Black. It’s like my ultimate party shuffle.

Some of my personal highlights from this month are all of the NFG stuff, the EZ lookbook, and the Harvest of Hope stuff. Hopefully you all enjoy it too. So without further ado, I present you Monthly Wrapup: Feb 09 Edition

Derek

Richard

  • Less Than Jake Merch (Pics Below)
He hand-crafted an excellent tee and hoodie for their New Line. I already put a link up there ^
  • Paint It Black Tee (Pic Below)
Paint It Black rules. The end. http://www.myspace.com/paintitblack
  • New Found Glory Merch (Pic Below)
Richard also did 2 shirts for NFG. Seeing as how I love this band, I’m very excited to own all of these. The link is up in Derek’s section.
  • Harvest of Hope Fest (Pics Below)
Ricardo did all of the branding and merch and everything for HoH. It’s a really cool festival, check out our blog about it.
  • Rise Against Stuff w/ Derek (Pics Below)
Derek and Richie collabed on a stupid awesome admat for the Rise Against/Rancid tour. The artwork for that got adapted to a skate deck and a tee. Richard also did another tee for them. http://www.myspace.com/riseagainst

Yardley

  • Moved to NY
Yardley spent the better half of February dealing with 2 things: Moving and a Broken Computer. He’s back into commission now though so all is gravy. New York seems to be agreeing with him pretty well.
  • Cobra Starship Record
Yardley did the artwork for the new Cobra Starship vinyl that just came out. You can see the art on the Axe Site
  • Cut and Sew Products
Yardcore has been endlessly toiling away at those cut and sew garments that you kids love so very much.

Kevin

  • South Florida Fishing Adventures
Flash site for South Florida Fishing Adventures. He’s still working on it so you don’t get a link.
  • I Fight Dragons Header
Insanely fun/cool flash header for the I Fight Dragons myspace. So awesome. Play it! http://www.myspace.com/ifightdragons
  • Derisory Designs Myspace Design
Kevin did a myspace design to match the site design we did for Derisory Designs. The page was coded by the foolishly awesome Jessica.
  • Beth Myspace Design
Myspace design for the Orlando band Beth.
  • Serious Business™
Kevin handles all the boring stuff for us every day. He’s a trooper. I can’t keep up with all the charts and graphs. I don’t even think I know how to use Excel.

Joey

  • This Is Not A T-Shirt Site
Website for Orlando-based company This Is Not A T-Shirt. It’s not done yet, no link.
  • I Fight Dragons Myspace
Myspace page for I Fight Dragons featuring an awesome game that Kevin built for the header. Link is up in Kevin’s section.
  • Derisory Designs Site
Website and BigCartel for Derisory Designs. Features a full backend and an integrated Flickr feed. http://www.derisorydesigns.com
  • It’s Time Shirt
Shirt for my homie Joe Snow’s convention.
  • Tumbledown/Yesterday’s Ring 7”
Layout for a 7” being released by the stupid awesome folks at Anchorless Records.

…And that’s a wrap. We’ve already started some awesome stuff for March that I can’t wait to show off. Stay Tuned!
